Rene's song "Doin'
It By The Book" is at #2 on the Country Gospel
Chart.
Rene' has just been
named as the Male Vocalist of the Year by the
United
States Association of Gospel Entertainers and
Musicians. In addition to that honor, Rene was also nominated for Song of the Year
and Artist of the Year.
On
Monday, September 17, 2007, the USAGEM (United
States Association of Gospel Entertainers and
Musicians) announced their nominees for the 2007
Awards, and Rene' has been nominated for Male
Vocalist of the Year, Artist of the Year, Song of
the Year (I Know Him By Heart), and Crown Jewel
Award for Christian Country. In addition, The
Country Gospel Music Guild has announced their
nominees for the 2007 Golden Harp Awards, and Rene'
has been nominated for Male Horizon Artist of the
Year.
The release of "Well
Water," in the Fall of 2007, reached #27 on the
Independent Country Gospel
chart, and in December of 2007, "I Know Him By Heart"
charted at #6 on the Independent Country Gospel chart.
“Gain
A Little Holy Ground” charted #53 in February, 2006 on the
Country Gospel Music Guild chart.
